What general electrical jobs do you handle?
Fault finding, repairs, additional circuits and outlets, lighting changes, renovation electrical work, safety-switch checks and practical upgrades around the home. Send a photo or describe the issue and Laurence can suggest the sensible next step.
Can you quote from photos?
Clear photos and a description can often help with an initial indication. Hidden wiring, repeated tripping and renovation planning may still require a site visit before the scope can be confirmed.
How big should my solar system be?
It depends on more than roof area. Laurence considers when you use electricity, orientation, shade, available export capacity and likely future loads before recommending a size.
Will solar keep the house running during a blackout?
Ordinary grid-connected solar switches off during an outage for safety. Backup requires a system specifically designed to operate independently, usually with a compatible battery and defined backup circuits.
Will a battery work with my existing solar?
Often, yes, but the inverter, system configuration, switchboard, phases and current product approvals still need checking. Laurence assesses the existing equipment before recommending the practical pathway.
Can the charger use rooftop solar?
Many compatible smart chargers can follow surplus solar or operate within a broader home-energy system. Metering, communications, solar size and when the car is parked all matter.
